Petro The Ukrainian is a new TikTok star. After February 24, he began telling interesting facts about Ukraine to the English-speaking world, particularly to the youthful audience for whom he claims his content is aimed. Petro does it so skillfully that each of his videos earns thousands of views.
Petro The Ukrainian told Suspilne Culture who inspired him to create a blog and what attracts him to Ukrainian culture.
Petro grew up in the Ukrainian community of England. He went on to teach Ukrainian dance and sing in the Ukrainian choir.
The blogger created the profile on the social network, which is called the most youthful, after the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Petro calls his work a "TikTok campaign."
Petro believes that the popularity of Ukrainian culture would increase by 100% after the war, which is why he is focusing his efforts on it.
